Vertical

A vertical grinding machine precisely shapes and finishes workpieces using vertical orientation. In a vertical grinding machine, the workpiece is typically secured to a platform or table at the bottom of the machine. The grinding wheel, instead of moving horizontally, travels vertically along the Z-axis, descending onto the workpiece to perform the grinding operation. This orientation often leads to easier loading and unloading of workpieces, as well as simplified manual handling. The operator can simply place the workpiece onto the machine's chuck.

Furthermore, the vertical orientation enhanced accuracy and precision. The absence of gravitational sagging or uneven force during chucking ensures that workpieces maintain their intended dimensions more accurately. This is important for achieving consistent and high-quality results in various machining applications.

Our solution covers the machining process, we have been creating all-around plans. The ST Samuti series can efficiently perform OD, ID, and end face grinding in one chucking, suitable for both heavy and non-circular workpieces. SUPERTEC’s products provide reliable solutions for various machining needs. Check out our product details and feel free to contact us for technical support or further details.
